We the family of Charles sadly said goodbye to our courageous son and brother. With his family and beloved partner Diane Bowen at his side, C.J. died peacefully on Thursday, September 15, 2011 having bravely endured his suffering with dignity and humour. Also left to mourn are his loving parents Ted and Dorathy, sisters Teri Wagar, Julie Hart (Gary), Martha Forkes (Les) and Lisa Lawrence (Don), his brothers Stephen and Peter (Velda) and predeceased by his brother Randy. Charles was a special uncle to Christopher, Andrew and Morgan Wagar, Steacy Gibson, Matthew and Kyle Forkes, A.J., Ashlee, Zachary and Zoe Stanley and Cooper Stanley. The family will receive friends at the Robert J. Reid & Sons Funeral Home, ”The Chapel on the Corner”, 309 Johnson Street, (at Barrie Street) on Sunday, September 18 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 392 Palace Road, on Monday, September 19th at 10:30 a.m., followed by cremation. For those who wish, expressions of sympathy can be made by a donation to Saint Elizabeth Nursing Care.
