Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday June 12, 2012, Angela (nee Gkotsis) aged 78 years. Beloved wife of Mike Kanellos. Loving mother of Speros (Petula). Cherished "Yia Yia" of Marie-Ange and Michael. Dear sister of the late Angelo Gotsis and George Gkotsis. Also survived by sister-in-laws Irene Gotsis and Fay Gkotsis; nieces Maria Delgado (Abel) and Joanne Gotsis; and nephew Tony Gkotsis (Rebecca).
Family and friends will be received at the Robert J. Reid & Sons Funeral Home, "The Chapel on the Corner", 309 Johnson Street (at Barrie Street), on Friday June 15, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church, 121 Johnson Street, on Saturday June 16, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery, In memory of Angela, donations to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation - KGH ICU or to the "Koimisis Tis Theotokou", Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated.
